Every year, Washington County is home to a variety of special events appropriate for all ages. Fairs and festivals bring amazing food, rides, and entertainment to our area and celebrate the uniqueness of our region.

The Washington County Fair and the West Alexander Fair have delighted locals and visitors alike and showcase the area’s agricultural and livestock.

The PONY League World Series invites the world to Washington County each year to showcase a talented group of 13 and 14 year old baseball players from around the globe.

The EQT Washington & Greene Counties’ Covered Bridge Festival brings folks from around the region to shop handmade crafts, watch demonstrations, and listen to live music at any one of ten local covered bridges festival sites.

History takes center stage at the annual Whiskey Rebellion Festival every summer to celebrate the heritage and unique character of the region and our part in the whiskey tax protest in 1794.

These family friendly events create traditions and memories that last a lifetime.
